Probably is NOT the right one, as I remember Herbert telling me a story about how when Shirley was pregnant, she told her mother, Molly, that she'd planned to name her daughter Molly. This goes against Jewish religion to name a child after a relative who is still living.

Social Security Death Index has Shirley's DOB as May 17, 1903, though the family believes it to be May 4, 1905; however, in a tape-recorded interview I did in 1979, Shirley stated she was 56 years old when her husband Morris died in 1956, putting her birth year at 1900! Her son-in-law (Herbert Gold) has her birthdate down as May 4, 1918 (which would be impossible, as her son was born 5 years later!).
